So, when I was playing with the idea of not eating meat this weekend, I settled upon introducing No Meat Mondays. That's a start right? I think I just want to reduce how much chocolate and meat I have been wolfing down lately. For some reason, Spring classes and Utah bring out the carnivore and sweets stuff junky in me. Its time for that to end. Or at least for that beast to be tamed.
My Darling has happily agreed to join me in this quest for health and a more vegetarian way of life. So this evening we will start with Alfredo with tomatoes and red onions, and have a salad or green beans as a side. Then for dessert, fresh diced peaches with evaporated milk, whipped cream, and sugar (Peaches and Cream Abby Style).
Luckily the term is winding down and I will soon have the luxury of morning work outs and fun adventures around provo, rather than just to the library.
Thank you all,
Have a good one.

I work out!!
So ya, I am sexy and I know it...but there could be some improvements. I am going to take before and after pictures of my beach ready body, but sorry no sharing.
I just completed my first Go at Jillian Michaels ' 30 day shred, level 1 and I am pooped! So this is the plan. Every other day for 6 days a week, I will do this work out. Every day I do not do this workout I will do Zumba. Sundays are my rest days :) and then another rest day during the week if I am over loaded with school, etc.

My Design Style, according to BHG
Better Homes and Gardens has a Design Style quiz. To take it just go to This LINK
My Design Style is
Country French
My Design Style is
Country French
You are drawn to a rustic but refined style that feels comfortable and livable for today's families. Your version of Country French style may be rustic (think glazed pottery and chunky woven baskets) or more refined (think gilded details). Either way, patterned fabrics such as toile, stripes, and fleur-de-lis motifs will help you set the tone. Incorporate details such as stucco walls, wrought-iron accents, and furniture with carved details for an old-world look.
I can totally live with that

The Llama Song
So at work today a student submitted the following, please read and laugh!
IN PRAISE OF LLAMAS
La-la-llamas rate as mammals
Much resembling baby camels,
And their appellation’s hard to speak and spell,
For it seems, when Adam uttered
Their baptismal name, he stuttered,
Hence we always must reduplicate the “L.”
Those Peruvians, the Incas,
On their lonely mountain fincas
(Which is Spanish for plantations, ranches, farms)
Reared, instead of Leghorns, Brahmas
And Minorcas, La-la-llamas
With Alpacas who have corresponding charms
Through Andean panoramas
Wind the herds of La-la-llamas
Skirting precipices dangerously steep,
Over swinging bridge or ferry
To some La-la-llamaserai
Or wherever La-la-lamas stop to sleep.
Lively lambkin La-la-lamas
Trot beside their ma-ma-ma-mas
Lightly dancing when their parents pause to graze;
Lovely lady La-la-lamas
Look like queens of movie dramas
With their melting eyes and soft, coquettish ways.
And they splash across lagunas
With their cousins, the Vicunas
And Guanacos, bearing loads upon their backs;
And these useful La-la-lamas
Furnish wool to make pajamas
And to help their owners pay the income tax.
So be happy, La-la-lamas
Climbing Western Fujiyamas
Or descending to the vega’s fertile floor!
Thrive and flourish, La-la-lamas,
In a climb like Alabama’s
In Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador!
Arthur Guiterman (1871-1943)
Which then made me think of this:
What a fantastic day today. hahahaha! Love life.

Yummy New Years
So dearest loved ones,
it has been a while since I have posted. For that I apologize. Things have just been..well...amazing. Quick highlights.
- It's a new semester and I adore my classes (Sexuality in Cirriculum is my favorite but Statistics interestingly enough follows close behind)
- Darling and I are doing very well as we have both decided to get some help with our relationship from our Bishop and other wonderful people around. Just workin out those relationship kinks.
- I have been loving work and the new jobs I get to tackle this semester.
My roommate E got engaged! :) - I am a part of 2 group projects and the other members while incompetent, give me a challenge.
- Bought 2 new beautiful skirts that I love
- Went to a Stake Formal Dance with my Darling and got some great pictures!
- I started my own therapy this week and got some tough homework. I have just felt overwhelemed for a few months and it is nice to be validated and get some feedback on how I can think more positively and have faith in my ability to make good decisions.
- So many opportunities are opening up for both Darling and I and it is hard to know what to do but so super exciting!
So that is that. Now, something I am going to try later this month or starting in March is this cool idea for overnight oatmeal.
In a cool Mason Jar (I use old Prego or Salsa Jars) place 1/2C Quick Cooking Oatmeal, 1/2 T Chia Seeds, 1/2 t cinnamon, 1T chopped walnuts and 2T raisins or craisins. Then you add 1 Cup of water or milk and stir. Put that in the fridge overnight and the eat as is or pop in the microwave for a minute or so and you are good to go. So yummy with sliced banana and or nut butter too. For the look above, do it in layers and then refridgerate.
Well, that's all folks.

Simply Havin a Wonderful Christmas Time
So this may be one of the cutest Christmas shows I have ever seen.

So even with Darling all the way in England, and all my roomies rushing around and going home, I have still been able to find some xmas joy and make this Christmas feel like home.
I hope that even when we are all tired of our jobs, or just itching for a change of scenery or pace, that we all remember the point of this Christmas season. Now is the time to realize that our lives may just be the tinseliest life we could have if we just choose to see it and make it that way.
I am headed home tonight and I am so excited to see the gifts that await: family, friends, and my puppies!
