P90 is AWESOME

Happy New Week everybody!!

So... Yesterday I made delicious Lemon Bars with the help of Bubby and my siblings. The best part, they all helped eat them too!



I got up today and did P90. That's right, P90 NOT P90X. P90 is Tony Horton's workout which came before the Xtreme version. I am so excited to move from phase 1 and 2 to phase 3 and 4 in the next week. The workouts at phase 1 and 2 are now getting too easy and I need a little more push. After I finish phase 4 though I will be moving on to P90X...if we buy it or if I can borrow it from someone. I love it though. I sweat, A LOT! Sweating is the best part of workouts I think. I love the feeling of just being super sweaty after a workout, it is how I know I am really working that hard.

I would never suggest hopping directly into P90X because your body really needs to build up. If you aren't super active and then suddenly are doing 20 crunches 20 leg lifts 20 bikes, etc. you are going to hurt yourself. I take what Dr.Brown ( my BYU nutrition professor) said seriously "It is most important for you health and most effective, if you make SMALL and SUSTAINABLE changes in your diet and exercise level." Right?! Makes Sense. Start small. "BY small and simple means are great things brought to pass." Learn it, Live it, Love it!
