So what am I excited for today? Other than blogging which I haven't done a lot of lately... CHRISTMAS!! Don't ask me why but today I am just super excited about it. I love baking XMAS cookies number 1. Number 2 I am just falling in love with the songs way too early this year. I was baking what were going to be pumpkin sauce cookies (like apple sauce only I made it with pumpkin for a harry potter movie fest) with m&m's and/or raisins. While I was mixing up 3 batches (one m&m's, one raisin, one with both) my ipod skipped to Mr.Grinch AND Baby it's Cold Outside! Two of my very favorite winter/xmas songs! That was only topped by my fair execution of silent night on the piano. Granted I haven't really played what is probably too long, so it took me all the rest of my morning to master as a novice.
P.S. My cookies turned into muffins half way through as I added all of the sauce for flavor, followed by much needed flour to compliment. So we have some super yummy treats in the kitchen! And I have good news from the doctors...all is clear minus an infection.
