Experiment #1
So I took my dogs on a 5 mile walk this afternoon to Friesenhahn Park! Felt so good! :) they really enjoyed it too. Whoever said dogs dont like water...you are dead wrong! My pups bounded into the water to cool off and then just decided to lay down in it for a while. It was so cute to watch. Glad that we are friends! We are going to start making it a weekly trip...whenever I have down time. And I am thinking Dog Park tomorrow! YAY! They love it. And Marco might be ready to go off the leash. We will see. But experiment =success! Happy me and Happy them. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have dogs. No, I will always have at least one dog.
Well it is on to making dinner and then maybe the pool or reading, or who knows but tater tot casserole..WHABAM! I will own you and make you delicious. hehe
Oh and here is a most fantastic, heavenly, recipe for chocolate lava cakes. It was on the back of a bakers baking chocolate box and it is mmm mmm goood! Hope you try it some time and love it too. Chocaholics unite! One is plenty though believe me. Eat to much and you really really feel it. But I have heard from many many friends that this is Better. Than. Sex. Yep! See for yourself. I think they aren't even on the same playing field.
DARK MOLTEN CHOCOLATE CAKES

Prep:15 mins Total:30 mins
1pkg (6 sqaures/oz) BAKER'S Bittersweet Baking Chocolate
1/2 cup flour
3 whole eggs
3 egg yolks
10 Tbs butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease 6 custard cups/large muffin pan
Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl on High for 2 mins or till butter is melted. Stir with wire whisk until chocolate is melted. Add powdered sugar and flour; mix well. Add whole eggs and egg yolks; beat until well blended. Divide batter evenly into custard cups.
Bake for 14-15 mins or until cakes are firm around the edges but soft in the centers. Let stand 1 min. Run knife around cakes to loosen. Carefully invert cakes on to dessert dishes. Sprinkle lightly with additional powdered sugar and garnish with raspberries or strawberries. Serve immediately. Makes 12 servings. (1/2 cake=1 serving)
Can make it ahead. Batter can be made the day before you cook them. Just put the batter into the custard cups cover them with plastic wrap and refrigerate them. When ready just bake them as directed. Can't go wrong with these...always delicious...especially with a tad whip cream, milk (evaporated or regular) drizzled on top. Yummy
What is the absolutely best summer cold treat? Forget ice cream! Go for Edy's Fruit Bars. The fat ones! They are super good! Strawberry and Coconut are my favs!! Hits the spot on a hot day like today and you don't feel like you have just eaten something really heavy just really tasty.

But anyway live it, love it, eat it!
Exhausting the art of learning,
Patience
