Stephanie my cousin who lives in Maryland...is going to the MTC!!! YAY!!! She is probably headed into the Provo MTC right now! I talked with her for about 2 mins this morning and she is so excited. I am way happy and ecstatic for her!! :D Part of me wishes I could be going in right now. hehehe...soon enough.
I have pains from over doing it on the yoga yesterday but thats totally my own fault. Stress! Suuuuuck! I have been so stressed and out of it lately that i really needed an up day like today. Last night was good too. I had a friend tell me that the song "Why don't we just dance?" reminds him of me! I love that song...so it thrilled me! :D Then I got to read all day yesterday. Aside from making dinner and such of course. But wow I love reading. Taking time to just sit and open my mind to the vast amount of knowledge and wisdom out there is so alluring to me. If I ever start feeling dumb or hopeless or bored a book is a great way out of it. Even searching for cool articles online is fun. I am such a super dork! Hahaha watching the discovery channel and certain history channel shows really inspire me and I love em. I just am a lover of learning I suppose.
Speaking of which I read something really cool last night...as I finished up the Anatomy of Hope I read this and it really gave me the motivation to change some things in my life. I HOPE it will give you inspiration too...there are always things one could be trying to do better or more perfectly :) I like that. Life is never boring and there is always a challenge waiting for you.
****"Hope sets off a chain reaction. Hope tempers pain, and as we sense less pain, that feeling of hope expands, which further reduces pain. As pain subsides, a significant obstacle to enduring a harsh but necessary therapy is removed."
I applied that to the emotional pain that I have personally been feeling as of late due to the loss of dearly loved ones and other random stuff. It is true. As I discover and hold onto hope, my pain is reduced and more hope is realized. Its beautiful :)
I look forward to the San Antonio rain tonight...to wash away more of the hurt. Excited as always I get to make yummy banana bread and dinner. Last night we had hamburger pie, grandma angells recipe, with swiss chard! Gotta love those leafy greens! So delicious! And momsy made cinnamon rolls for her seminary class :) A very very special rare treat. Tasty and made my night even better. We will see what I can conjure up for tonights meal.
Experiment of the day... well I am starting the book "House of the Lord" by James E. Talmage so I will let you know how it reads. He is a great writer so I am sure I will at least learn a lot. The great thing about these books is that they are very clarifying. I come to understand the greater round of things more and more every time I read them. And like books of scripture you always learn something new every chance you get to read them.

ANd only 9 more days until the FIFA World Cup in South Africa!!!!!!! YAY!!! This year I am rooting for Spain and their David Villa! Whooooo! Messi from Argentina will be good though! Lets see who takes it!
Forever trying to be better and be a good woman with,
Patience
