Intro to the 10 day body image challenge

Beautiful is having beauty; having qualities that give great pleasure or satisfaction to see, hear, think about, etc.; delighting the senses or the mind; being excellent of it's kind.

Beautiful
This definition of beautty

helps me to remember the beauty

that resides within all women and yes,

men too.I think of what I get pleasure from seeing,

hearing,thinking about. What delights my senses

and my mind?It's not being a coke bottle

shape, or having great legs that makes a

woman beautiful. It is not awesome

biceps or rock hard abs that make a

man attractive. Physical attraction

isimportant, but I always

inevitably find, that

I am always more

attracted to men

who are of a good character

who treat me with respect and

who are not afraid to show that they

are smart or have a variety of interests even

dorky ones. Nerdy ones. I appreciate a man that can

make me laugh, who does not only say that I am beautiful

but treats me and helps me feel like I am beautiful. In a

world of competing ideas I think we fail to see the true

beauty that resides within us, that can and should

show on the outside. I appreciate a woman

who knows who she is and is uncompromising

in her standards. Having fun is important

but remembering for what and for whom

you stand...that is invaluable and an

admirable quality of any young person

male or female. Let us not settle for

the fair or the okay.Let us not settle

for second best.But let us recall that

we are Gods

in embryo.

We have a

loving father

in heaven

who loves us

and we are

meant to,

it is our

desitiny,

to become

even as

He is.

I am completing the 10 day body challenge and I will post my journal entries. I haven't been writing them up here but I recently decided that it might be helpful for me to look back on the lessons that I am learning, and maybe it will help one of you too.
